Today we also filled the sandbox, much to the delight of the babes...Mia kept exclaiming: "I'm so happy mudder" (She's taken to calling me "mudder" her pronunciation of "mother"--it is cute & funny)
Ooooh sand! Happy weekend and summer! Yahoo! Vacation is here...let the fun begin!

Can't wait to come over and see the sandbox! Cameron will be thrilled! Olivia ate sand yesterday at the beach, so we'll have to keep our eye on her (as usual).
My boys love the sand box. We are waiting to get one. Dan's dad is supposed to be bringing one eventually. The sooner the better, my boys will go nuts for it. Hopefully we can get together soon!
Kim, Looks like Poppy did a great job on the new sandbox. Just a head's up, the pressure treated lumber is a good idea for longevity, however if the kids trip or skin their knee or elbow on it or get a splinter.... make sure you get the splinter out and take special care in cleaning (I might even check with their doc about what to clean it with) because the pressure treated lumber is treated with chemicals including arsentic to lengthen it's wearability. Jim got a splinter once and it got very infected and painful very quickly because of the chemicals.

I should have figured as much. You know me just a worried Mamma here. Though as my kids are getting their own pets, they are calling me Grammy... ack.. I'm not ready for that yet.
Yeah for summertime, sandboxes and dirty kids from playing all day!!
