Our friend Erin runs a music and movement class for babies and pre-schoolers. Mia started going with Auntie, then I took Mia and Benj, and then Auntie continued with Mia for the past few months...and today, I got to take both kiddos again! It is fun and the kids love it. The first pic is Mia leading the train (without me!)...she take the leadership responsibility very seriously--it is cute.
Here is Benj jamming! He loved standing and drumming today....
The big drum is very popular...check out the girl drum circle! It was nice to be a part of class today! So far we are enjoying our summer together....yahoo!

If that picture of Ben isn't the most adorable picture in the world, I don't know what is. The face, the blue eyes, the excitment, the blonde hair the sheer joy at the simplest joys in life, i.e. being able to stand and pound a drum and make noise. We really lose the wonder and joy of childhood and if we are lucky we can recapture it when we have children and as they grow older we lose it again and regain it as grand parents in the sheer joy of our grandchildren.
