Thanks to the Chapmans for taking pity on us and inviting us over for a fun afternoon and wonderful dinner! The kids had a blast! Benji enjoyed his first swinging experience...check out the big grin! Mia & Eli had the important task of herding the chickens away from the newly planted raspberry bushes. Mia loved those chickens and was quite fearless around them. I think she would've tried to hug one if she could've gotten one! Between the attemps at Eli's bike and the chicken wrangling, Mia was exhausted and fell asleep on the ride home! As we were packing up, Eli entertained Benj with a paper pirate hat and lots of "argh"s. Benji laughed so hard, with such a deep belly laugh that we all were cracking up. Ben loves to watch the big kids. I guess it won't be long till he is herding the chickens too. Sigh. Jen & Justin served quiches made with the eggs from their chickens and I truly thank them for their hospitality. Happy Mother's Day Mamas!

We loved having you over and are looking forward to using Mia's chicken-wrangling services more this summer! She's a natural.
